How to Cancel — Step by Step

  1. 1Log in to your Home Chef account on the website, click Account in the upper‑right corner, select Account Settings, then choose Pause My Account to cancel the subscription; confirm on the cancellation screen and wait for the confirmation email.
  2. 2In the mobile app, tap Account (bottom right), go to My Settings, and select Pause My Account at the bottom, then confirm the cancellation.
  3. 3Send an email request to support@homechef.com to cancel; the request must be made before the weekly cutoff (Friday 12 PM CST) to avoid charges for the upcoming delivery.

Reactivating Your Account

  • Log back into the account; the site will prompt you to “reactivate” before placing a new order.
  • In the mobile app, go to My Settings and select Reactivate to resume the subscription.

Additional Notes

  • Cancellation must be completed before Friday 12 PM CST the week prior to the next delivery; orders finalized after that deadline cannot be cancelled or refunded.
  • Cancelling the subscription does not automatically cancel the first order already scheduled; you must contact support to cancel that first order separately.
