Return Conditions
- For online orders, you must contact Customer Service within seven days of delivery or pickup.
- For the Fresh Guarantee on produce, meat, seafood, bakery, deli and floral items, the product and receipt must be presented.
- The satisfaction guarantee does not cover damage from improper use, storage, or accidents after you have received the item.
Refund Methods
- Refunds are issued to the original form of payment.
- PIN-based Debit Card purchases will be refunded as cash.
- For online orders, you can choose a credit on your account to be applied to your next order.
- For in-store returns over $10 without a receipt, an approved refund will be issued as merchandise credit for the item's lowest selling price in the past 30 days.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Baby formula cannot be returned or refunded once accepted.
- Alcoholic beverages cannot be returned or refunded once accepted.
- Tobacco products cannot be returned or refunded once accepted.
- WIC refunds may only be exchanged for the same or another approved WIC item of equal or lesser value.
Online / Mail Returns
- For online grocery orders, you can notify the driver upon delivery or contact Customer Service at (877) 505-4040 within seven days of delivery or pickup to request a refund.
- If you placed an order through a third-party service like Instacart or UberEats, you can request a refund through that service or come into a Vons store.
In-Store Returns
- With a receipt, a full refund will be issued based on the original payment method.
- For returns without a receipt, refunds under $25 may be issued as cash, gift card, or to the original tender.
- Refunds over $10 without a receipt require manager approval.
Damaged or Defective Items
- Vons has a Fresh Guarantee for all produce, meat, seafood, bakery, deli and floral items; if you are not 100% satisfied, you can get a full refund.
- Perishable flowers and plants are guaranteed to last for seven days.
Additional Notes
- SNAP/EBT refunds will be credited back to the EBT account.
- For in-store returns, any refund over $9.99 requires a refund slip to be filled out with a name, signature, and phone number.
