How to Cancel — Step by Step
- 1Log in to your eHarmony account at eharmony.com.
- 2Click your profile picture at the top-center of the page.
- 3Select 'Account Settings' from the dropdown menu.
- 4Click on 'Billing' in the account settings sidebar.
- 5Scroll down and click the 'Cancel My Subscription' button at the bottom of the Billing page.
- 6Follow the on-screen prompts and confirm your cancellation.
- 7You will receive a confirmation email — save this as proof of cancellation.
- 8Alternatively, send a signed and dated cancellation notice to subscriptions@eharmony.com.
Billed Through a Third Party?
- If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, cancel via iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → eHarmony → Cancel Subscription. The eHarmony website cannot cancel App Store subscriptions.
- If you subscribed through Google Play, open Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → eHarmony → Cancel subscription.
- You must cancel through the same platform where you originally subscribed — website subscribers cancel on the website, App Store subscribers cancel through Apple, etc.
- Third-party platform billing cycles and refund policies (Apple/Google) apply when you subscribed through those platforms.
Reactivating Your Account
- You can reactivate by logging back in and selecting a new subscription plan.
- Your profile, matches, and message history are retained for a period after cancellation but may eventually be deleted.
- eHarmony may offer returning members promotional discount rates.
- A free (unpaid) account with limited features remains active even after cancelling your premium subscription.
Additional Notes
- eHarmony plans: 6 months (~$219 total / ~$36.54/month), 12 months (~$287 total / ~$23.94/month), 24 months (~$238 total / ~$9.90/month). Prices vary with frequent promotional discounts of 10%–50% off.
- Cancel at least 24–48 hours before your next billing cycle date to avoid being charged for the next period.
- Turning off auto-renewal does NOT get you out of your current contract — it only prevents renewal at the end of the term.
- If you paid via installments, all remaining payments are still due even after cancellation of auto-renewal.
- The 3-business-day cancellation window (excluding Sundays and national holidays) is your only opportunity for a full refund.
- Customer support phone: (844) 544-3181. Email: support@eharmony.com. Online help center: support.eharmony.com.
- eHarmony's Terms of Service require arbitration for disputes — small claims court is an alternative option in most states.
- Deleting the eHarmony app does NOT cancel your subscription — you must formally cancel through Account Settings or the app store.
