Cancellation Steps

T-Mobile

  • Contact T-Mobile Customer Service by calling 1-877-746-0909 (or dial 611 from a T-Mobile phone) to cancel service.
  • For Business Customer Service, call 1-866-335-1467. For TTY service, call 1-877-296-1018.
  • If in Puerto Rico, you can mail your request to T-Mobile Executive Customer Relations, PO Box 191957, San Juan, PR 00919-1957, or call 1-877-746-0909.
  • Check and save your voicemail messages prior to canceling, as they will be deleted and cannot be recovered.
  • Be aware that if the entire account is closed, all remaining Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) balances will be charged in full on your final bill.

Verizon

  • Call Verizon customer service at 1-800-VERIZON (800-837-4966) for Fios service, or 1-844-837-2262 for general cancellation.
  • Sign in to My Verizon and either choose "Disconnect Service" on the Account Dashboard/Settings page (for Fios) or tap "Chat", type "Cancel", and follow the prompts.
  • Have your account information ready for authentication when calling.
  • Return any rented equipment within 30 days of disconnecting service to avoid unreturned equipment charges.
  • If you are located in CA, FL, or TX, contact your local provider to cancel service.

T-Mobile

  • Voicemail and DIGITS call histories and messages will be deleted and cannot be recovered after cancellation.

  • Prepaid accounts usually cancel automatically after 120 days in a 'Not Paid' status, which may result in the loss of your mobile number.

Verizon

  • An early termination fee (ETF) may be charged if you are under contract for Fios service, up to a maximum of $350, decreasing by $15 per month.
