- Log in to your Nord Account on the NordVPN website.
- Navigate to the 'Billing' section from the left-hand menu.
- In the 'Subscriptions' tab, find the 'Auto-renewal' section and click 'Cancel' or 'Manage'.
- Confirm your choice by clicking 'Cancel auto-renewal'.
- Your subscription's auto-renewal will now be turned off, and you can use the service until the end of the current billing period.
- To request a refund within the 30-day money-back guarantee period, you must contact NordVPN's customer support via email at support@nordvpn.com or through live chat on their support page.
Surfshark
- Log in to your account on the Surfshark website.
- Click on your email address at the top-right corner and select 'Subscription'.
- Select the 'Payments' section.
- Click on 'Cancel auto-renewal' to stop future payments.

Third-Party Billing
NordVPN
- If you purchased your subscription through the Apple App Store, you must cancel and request a refund directly through Apple's support as NordVPN cannot process these refunds.
- For subscriptions made via the Google Play Store, you can cancel within your Google Play account's 'Payments & subscriptions' section. Refunds can be requested through NordVPN support, or directly from Google Play if within 48 hours of purchase.
- For purchases made through the Amazon App Store, you need to contact Amazon support directly to cancel and request a refund.
- If you bought NordVPN from other retailers or resellers, you must contact them directly for cancellations and refunds.
Surfshark
- If you purchased your subscription through the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or Amazon Appstore, you must cancel it through the respective store.
Additional Notes
NordVPN
- Canceling auto-renewal prevents future charges but does not automatically issue a refund. You must contact customer support to request a refund within the eligible period.
- The 30-day money-back guarantee is only for your initial purchase. Renewals are not eligible for a refund under this policy.
Surfshark
- After cancelling the auto-renewal, you can still use the Surfshark services until the current subscription expires.
