Cancellation Steps
NordVPN
- Log in to your Nord Account on the NordVPN website.
- Navigate to the 'Billing' section from the left-hand menu.
- In the 'Subscriptions' tab, find the 'Auto-renewal' section and click 'Cancel' or 'Manage'.
- Confirm your choice by clicking 'Cancel auto-renewal'.
- Your subscription's auto-renewal will now be turned off, and you can use the service until the end of the current billing period.
- To request a refund within the 30-day money-back guarantee period, you must contact NordVPN's customer support via email at support@nordvpn.com or through live chat on their support page.
ExpressVPN
- Sign in to your ExpressVPN account on the ExpressVPN website.
- Navigate to 'Account & Billing' or 'Subscription' from the left-hand menu.
- Under 'Subscription details' or 'Account management,' select 'Cancel Subscription' or 'Delete account' and follow the prompts to turn off automatic renewal.
- To request a refund (if eligible), go to 'Account & Billing,' then 'Payment history,' and select 'Refund' next to the eligible payment, or contact ExpressVPN Support via live chat or email.
- If the subscription was purchased via the Apple App Store, open the App Store, go to your subscriptions, select ExpressVPN, and follow the cancellation instructions. Then, contact Apple Support for any refund requests, as ExpressVPN cannot process these directly.

Third-Party Billing
NordVPN
- If you purchased your subscription through the Apple App Store, you must cancel and request a refund directly through Apple's support as NordVPN cannot process these refunds.
- For subscriptions made via the Google Play Store, you can cancel within your Google Play account's 'Payments & subscriptions' section. Refunds can be requested through NordVPN support, or directly from Google Play if within 48 hours of purchase.
- For purchases made through the Amazon App Store, you need to contact Amazon support directly to cancel and request a refund.
- If you bought NordVPN from other retailers or resellers, you must contact them directly for cancellations and refunds.
ExpressVPN
- Google Play Store: Subscriptions purchased via Google Play are eligible for ExpressVPN's 30-day money-back guarantee. Cancellation can be managed through Google Play Store app settings or by contacting ExpressVPN Support for a refund.
- Apple App Store (iTunes): ExpressVPN's money-back guarantee does not apply to subscriptions billed as an in-app purchase through the Apple App Store. Refunds are at the sole discretion of Apple Support and must be requested directly through the App Store.
Additional Notes
NordVPN
- Canceling auto-renewal prevents future charges but does not automatically issue a refund. You must contact customer support to request a refund within the eligible period.
