Cancellation Steps
Nintendo Switch Online
- Sign in to the Nintendo Account that purchased the Nintendo Switch Online membership.
- On the web, go to the membership or subscriptions section of your Nintendo Account and choose the option to cancel your subscription by turning off auto-renewal.
- On Nintendo Switch, open Nintendo eShop, select the purchasing account, open Account Information from the user icon, select Nintendo Switch Online, then choose the option to turn off or terminate automatic renewal.
- Complete the confirmation step at least 48 hours before the membership is set to expire to prevent the next renewal charge.
PlayStation Plus
- On your PS5 console, go to Settings > Users and Accounts.
- Select Account > Payment and Subscriptions > Subscriptions.
- Select your PlayStation Plus subscription and then select Cancel Subscription.

Additional Notes
Nintendo Switch Online
- After auto-renewal is turned off, the membership stays active until the current paid term ends.
- When the membership expires, Nintendo Switch Online benefits end, including access to cloud backup until a new membership is started again within Nintendo's stated retention window.
- If you have a family membership, other members of the family group also lose Nintendo Switch Online benefits when the membership expires.
PlayStation Plus
- Your subscription will be deactivated starting from the next payment date after cancellation.
- You can stop making payments at any time by turning off auto-renewal.
