- Make sure you're signed in with the same Microsoft personal account that purchased Microsoft 365.
- If you purchased from a third-party retailer (e.g., Amazon, Best Buy), contact them directly to manage your subscription.
- If you purchased from Google Play or the Apple App Store, contact their customer support for cancellation or refund.
- You cannot cancel until any overdue amount is paid.
- Cancellations must be more than 2 days before the billing date to avoid being charged.
Google Workspace
- Before canceling, it is crucial to export your organization's data, as you will lose access to premium Google Workspace services and your data will be deleted once your subscription ends.
- Canceling your subscription stops future payments for Google Workspace services, but you typically retain access to features until the end of your current subscription period and billing cycle.
- Deleting your organization's Google Account is a separate process from canceling a subscription and will free your domain for use with a new Google Account.
- Inform team members about the cancellation decision and how user emails, files, and access will be handled after the plan is canceled.
