Cancellation Steps
MasterClass
- Log into your MasterClass account on www.masterclass.com using a web browser.
- Click your profile or account menu in the top right, then select 'Settings'.
- In Account Settings, find the 'Membership' section and click 'Cancel Membership'.
- On the next screen, select 'Cancel Now' to confirm and complete your cancellation.
- You will receive a confirmation email once your cancellation is processed.
Skillshare
- Log in to your Skillshare account on a desktop or mobile web browser.
- Go to your Account Settings.
- Select 'Membership & Payments' from the left navigation menu.
- Click 'Cancel membership'.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the cancellation.

- Online through account settings on the MasterClass website
- Directly through the respective app store for third-party purchases (iOS App Store, Google Play, Amazon, Roku)

Third-Party Billing
MasterClass
- **iOS App Store:** Cancellations must be completed directly through the App Store. MasterClass cannot process refunds for Apple purchases.
- **Google Play:** Cancellations must be completed directly through Google Play. Refunds and billing adjustments are subject to Google Play's policies.
- **Amazon:** Refunds follow Amazon's Return Policy. To request a refund, go to 'Your Orders' and select 'Return for Refund'.
- **Roku:** Purchases are subject to Roku's Return Policy. Contact Roku Support directly for refunds.
- MasterClass is not responsible for processing or resolving cancellations, renewals, or refunds for subscriptions purchased through third-party marketplaces.
Skillshare
- If you subscribed through the iOS App Store or Google Play, you must cancel your membership through the respective app store.
- Skillshare cannot cancel, refund, or manage memberships purchased through the iOS App Store or Google Play.
Reactivation & Data Retention
MasterClass
- You can re-enable auto-renewal later by signing in and selecting 'Reactivate' in your settings.
Skillshare
- You can renew your membership at any time after cancellation.
- If you choose to sign back up, your new billing date will be the day you paid.
Additional Notes
MasterClass
- Cancellations cannot be made directly through the MasterClass app; they must be done via a web browser for accounts purchased directly from MasterClass.com.
- After canceling, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
- If you use a third-party subscription-management service (e.g., Xpendy, Trim, Rocket Money) to request a cancellation, MasterClass will still need to confirm with you directly.
- If you no longer have access to the email address used for signup, you must contact MasterClass support and provide relevant purchase information.
Skillshare
- After canceling, you will retain access to Skillshare content until the end of your current paid period.
- Once your membership expires, you will lose access to classes and any downloadable materials.
- To cancel a Skillshare for Teams account, you need to contact teamhelp@skillshare.com or your dedicated Customer Success Manager.
