Return Conditions
Ashley Furniture
- Items must be returned in their original condition.
- All accessories and parts must be included.
- Securely packed in all original packaging (unless removed during White Glove Delivery).
- Must be in new/unused condition.
Rooms To Go
- You are responsible for returning the merchandise in the condition in which it was delivered.
- Items delivered via UPS must be returned via UPS at the customer's expense.
- Items not delivered must be in original condition for refund/exchange.
Exceptions & Restrictions
Ashley Furniture
- Final-Sale and Clearance Items (unless delivered damaged/defective and reported within 3 business days).
- Special Orders.
- Monogrammed or Personalized Items.
- Mattresses and Foundations (returns generally controlled by manufacturer's warranty, except if delivered damaged within 72 hours).
- Bedding and linens.
- Special order accessories, area rugs, lamps, wall art.
- Imported products (not eligible for returns or refunds, but may be exchanged for another product or store credit within 7 calendar days if in original condition).
- Items that have been assembled (may still be exchanged).
Rooms To Go
- Delivery charges are non-refundable for online returns.
- Online sales cancellation not eligible if merchandise is loaded on the truck for delivery (generally three days prior).
- Express/Next Day Delivery orders are not eligible for cancellation or refund.
- Showroom sales: no refunds after merchandise has been delivered.
- If canceling showroom sale after 48 hours but prior to delivery, only 80% of purchase price refunded.
- Returns may incur a fee equal to the original delivery charge.
- Pickup, redelivery, restocking, or other fees may apply for certain returns/exchanges (Doorway Delivery, mattresses, box springs).
- Special orders cannot be returned or exchanged once delivered.
- No returns for bed sheets, pillow cases, mattresses, accessories, or carpets.
- Online RTG purchases cannot be returned at a store.
Refund Methods
Ashley Furniture
- Refunds are made based on the original payment method.
- Credits and refunds are issued for the purchase price of the returned item(s).
- Taxes are refunded in accordance with applicable state law.
- For cash or check payments, a refund check is mailed within 7-10 days after the product is returned and inspected.
Rooms To Go
- Purchase price of merchandise plus tax (online sales, but not delivery charge).
- Original form of payment for showroom sales cancelled within 48 hours (if no delivery).
- For BitPay purchases, refund by check in U.S. dollars.
- Credit to charged account if purchased with credit account; otherwise by check.
Online / Mail Returns

- Contact Guest Experience or Customer Care to initiate a return.
- Return shipping or pickup fees may apply; customer is responsible for return shipping fees for non-damaged items.
- An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) is required; unauthorized returns are not accepted.
- Returns must be sent to the provided distribution center address.
- Save and email the return tracking number.
Rooms To Go
- Permitted within 48 hours of delivery if the merchandise was not as expected. Customer is responsible for returning the merchandise via UPS at their own expense.
In-Store Returns

- In-store purchases have separate policies set by the individual store; contact the store directly.
- Some online purchases may not be returned in stores.
- Furniture accessories may be returned to showrooms.

- Rooms To Go showrooms do not accept physical returns of any kind for online purchases.
Damaged or Defective Items

- Report damaged or defective items within 72 hours (3 business days) of delivery.
- Contact Guest Experience or Customer Care for assistance.
- Ashley Furniture will work to repair, replace, or pick up the item.
- Shipping, delivery, and handling charges are refundable for damaged or defective merchandise.
- For manufacturing defects discovered after the initial reporting period, consult the manufacturer's warranty.
- For White Glove and Doorstep Delivery, only damaged or defective items may be returned.

Exchange Policy

- For preference returns of some furniture, a one-time re-selection of equal or greater value may waive the restocking fee, but a new delivery fee will apply.
- Assembled items may still be exchanged.
