Refund Steps
Affirm
- Contact the store directly where you made the purchase to request a refund.
- The store will inform you if a return is possible and the refund amount based on their policy.
- Once the store processes the return, they will notify Affirm.
- Affirm will then apply the refund to your loan balance, starting with the final payments.
- If you have already made payments, the amount will be refunded to your original payment method within 3-10 business days.
- You can check the status of your refund by signing into your Affirm account and selecting the purchase.
Klarna
- To check if Klarna balance refunds are enabled: Go to Payments, Navigate to Payment preferences, Tap Send to Klarna balance to toggle on/off.
- Follow the store’s return instructions.

Klarna
- If the partial refund is less than the remaining balance of your order, the amount still owed will be spread evenly across the remaining payments.
- If the partial refund is greater than the remaining balance of your order, the difference will be credited to the original payment method.
- For partial refunds on orders placed with the One-time card Pay in 4 service, the service fee is still charged.
