Refund Steps

  • The store will inform you if a return is possible and the refund amount based on their policy.
  • Once the store processes the return, they will notify Affirm.
  • Affirm will then apply the refund to your loan balance, starting with the final payments.
  • If you have already made payments, the amount will be refunded to your original payment method within 3-10 business days.
  • You can check the status of your refund by signing into your Affirm account and selecting the purchase.

Afterpay

  • Contact the merchant directly for their refund policy.
  • Reach out to the merchant/seller first to find out what has happened and request tracking information if goods have not been received.

Partial Refunds

Affirm

  • If a partial refund is less than your loan balance, the refund amount will be deducted from your remaining balance, potentially resulting in fewer remaining payments or a lower final payment.
