Return Conditions
Michaels
- Item must be new, unused, and in its original packaging, with exceptions for defective merchandise or products.
- MichaelsPro orders require a Return Authorization.
- For returns without a receipt, a valid photo ID is required.
Hobby Lobby
- For online purchases returned to a store, the invoice must accompany the item(s) to ensure the full purchase price is credited to a Hobby Lobby Gift Card.
- For online returns by mail, you are responsible for the cost of shipping the order back to Hobby Lobby.
- Your return must be in sellable condition; open and/or used merchandise cannot be returned.
Exceptions & Restrictions
Michaels
- Online-only costumes and accessory kits must be returned 7 days prior to the holiday.
- Restocking fees may be applied for MichaelsPro returns.
- Cricut® Products are returnable or exchangeable only if the packaging is unopened and a receipt is provided.
- Opened trading cards are considered damaged and are not returnable.
- Gift Cards and Prepaid Cards are not returnable or exchangeable, except where required by law.
- Custom Framing orders may be reworked at the same store location within 14 days of pickup.
- Classes are refundable up to start date of class.
- Online or in-store sales of cut fabric are final sale and are not returnable or exchangeable, except where required by law.
- Items damaged or deemed defective during the manufacturer's warranty period must be returned directly to the manufacturer, except returns as required by law.
- Glowforge® Machines and Filters can only be returned with a receipt within 14 days of purchase if the box is sealed and unopened.
Hobby Lobby
- Damaged and/or defective merchandise from an online order cannot be returned to the store.
- Any single-line item that totals $250.00 or more (bulk purchase) must be returned to hobbylobby.com, unless it's a Christmas Tree, Furniture, or Wall Decor item priced over $250.00.
- Seasonal items from a bulk purchase may incur a 20% restocking fee.
- Shipping and/or handling charges cannot be refunded at the store level.
- For in-store purchases without the original receipt, refunds are issued as merchandise credit based on the lowest selling price in the last 60 days, and a valid ID is required.

- Purchases made with a debit card are refunded as cash.
- A Store Return Card is issued for all purchases made using a gift card or gift receipt/purchases.

- Online orders can be returned to any Michaels store or by initiating a return through your online account.
- To start an online return, log into your michaels.com account, go to Order History, click 'View Details' on the desired order, and select the 'Return' button.
