Lowe's

  • Without receipt: valid photo ID required; store credit at manager's discretion; multiple receipt-less returns may result in a ban from future receipt-free returns

Menards

  • For returns without a receipt, a driver's license or state ID is required.
  • Bargain area/clearance merchandise is non-refundable.
  • Merchandise missing the original UPC can only be exchanged for an identical product.
  • Returned merchandise purchased with a rebate must have the original rebate receipt, otherwise the rebate value will be deducted.

  • Gas-powered items can be returned within 30 days if unused and in the original packaging.
  • Major appliances with a manufacturing defect can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of purchase, or within 90 days if unused and in the original packaging.
  • Gift cards are not returnable or refundable.
  • Herbicides, pesticides, or aerosols cannot be returned if opened.
  • Perennials, trees, and shrubs are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase for exchange or in-store credit.

  • Purchases made with cash will be refunded with cash.
  • Purchases made with a debit card will be refunded to the same account.
