Cancellation Steps
Costco Membership
- The Primary Member must initiate the cancellation process.
- Speak with a team member at any warehouse membership counter to cancel and receive an immediate refund.
- Call our Member Services Center at 1-800-774-2678 and speak to a live agent for cancellation.
Sam's Club Membership
- Visit any Sam's Club location to cancel your membership.
- Call 1-888-746-7726 to cancel your membership.
- Online: To cancel via auto-renew settings, select 'Cancel Membership' and then confirm cancellation by selecting 'Yes, Cancel'.
- For third-party service subscriptions, you can change or cancel on the subscriptions page in your SamsClub.com account.

Costco Membership
- The Primary Member must initiate the cancellation.
- Immediate refunds are available when canceling at a warehouse membership counter.
- Your Costco membership fee will renew automatically and be charged annually on the first day of your renewal month until you choose a different form of payment or cancel Auto Renewal.
- To receive a refund for the current Executive upgrade fee, the membership must be canceled or downgraded to a Gold Star or Business Membership. Any 2% Reward issued or accrued will be subtracted from the refund and forfeited to the extent it exceeds the amount of any refund.
Sam's Club Membership
- Canceling the Membership causes the membership and all add-on memberships to be canceled.
- When you close your account, Sam's Club may retain some of your information.
- For third-party service subscriptions, you must cancel at least twenty-four (24) hours before the end of your current interval to avoid being charged for the next interval.
- If you upgrade your third-party service subscription during a free trial period, you will lose your free trial, and Sam's Club will automatically charge you for the upgraded subscription.
