- Visit your home club (the specific location where you signed up) with a photo ID
- Request cancellation at the front desk
- Fill out a cancellation form
- Ask for written confirmation/receipt — keep this as proof
- Alternative: send a formal cancellation letter via USPS Certified Mail with Return Receipt Requested to your home club address (not corporate)
- Letter must include: full name, address, membership ID, home club name/address, desired cancellation date, explicit request to cancel
- Certified letter must be received at least 7 business days before the next billing date
Anytime Fitness
- Review your Membership Agreement for specific cancellation policies, as they vary by location and state.
- Provide written notice to your home club to cancel your membership.
- If canceling on the Initial Term Expiry Date, notify at least 30 days prior.
- If canceling after the Initial Term Expiry Date, the agreement generally terminates 14 days after notice (or on the next Supply Period start date if 14 days after notice, for specific states).
