How to Cancel — Step by Step

  1. 1If you signed up directly on the Shudder website and are billed by Shudder.com, log into your Shudder account in a web browser.
  2. 2Open your account settings from the profile avatar or go directly to watch.shudder.com/account?section=subscriptions.
  3. 3Navigate to your subscription and click 'Cancel'.
  4. 4Follow the prompts to complete cancellation and wait for the email confirmation.
  5. 5If you signed up on the website but pay with PayPal, cancel the recurring payment in PayPal as well.

Billed Through a Third Party?

  • Apple App Store subscriptions must be canceled through Apple subscriptions.
  • Google Play subscriptions must be canceled through Google Play subscriptions.
  • Roku subscriptions must be canceled through Roku subscriptions.
  • Amazon Prime Video Channel and Fire TV subscriptions must be canceled through Amazon subscription settings.
  • Samsung TV subscriptions must be canceled through Samsung Checkout.

Additional Notes

  • Deleting the Shudder app does not cancel the subscription.
  • If you are billed by a provider instead of Shudder.com, Shudder directs you to cancel through that provider.

FYI Shudder subscribers - the Amazon channel is not the same as the actual subscription.
